I know. I can understand that. The job promotion you told me about. The 5 Stars Hotel facilities that excite you. The 10 days salary slip you send. And all the way you motivate me to not give up about my career again.
I'm not trying to be naive. All the career goals, all the employees' benefit didn't make me interest anymore. The money I had definitely can't buy what I need. I tried to find the best things in life that actually free, and it's not even in my favorite store.
I can't find the warm hugs, I can't find the sincerest smiles, laughter, friends, family, love, nor good memories. With the time that I spend too much to just reach my career, I can't take it back with my tears. I'm losing the people I loved. I'm craving their time, their presence, their touch, or even their voice.
So congratulation once again, I'm very proud of you and I'll remember when you answer me about your Jakarta plan, you said, "It's never about the money but I never have the time".
And I agree with you. So, Anthony, we all know that "happy is the new wealthy". I hope you're happy, too. I hope you find a good sleep, an appetite, a beauty in things, a home feeling, a healthy body and mind, friends and love; with all the money and pride you proud of.
